Click do'nt show, I think if I remember ? depend's if you put in blank media and you wish to burn or just what to play a tune
My Computer, right click on the CD/DVD drive, Properties>Auto Play Tab, click the "Select an action to perform" radio box and click on "Take no action". Click apply, then Ok.
On a given day or given circumstance, you think you have a limit.
And you then go for this limit and you touch this limit and you think "Ok, this is the limit".
As soon as you touch this limit, something happens and you suddenly can go a little bit further.

1. Click Start, Run and enter GPEDIT.MSC
2. Go to Computer Configuration ---> Administrative Templates----->System.
3. Find the entry to Turn autoplay off and change it.
The other method does'nt always work for me on XP Pro, and I hear on XP home you may even need to modify the registry if you want to get rid of it for good.
It seems to work sporadically on my XP Home, I'd say about 50% of the time maybe. The last time I wanted it gone for good, I got one of the tweaking programs to do it, TweakUI or TweakXP, not sure...Originally posted by shn@6 April 2004 - 05:18
