the off-topic brackets:
[ot]the word quote would instead say "Off Topic"[/ot]
would show as

the word quote would instead say "Off Topic"

could also be:
[ot=laadiidoo] instead of saying "Quote (laadiidoo)" it would say "Off Topic: laadiidoo" [/ot]
which would appear as
