ok i installed the latest drivers for this sound card and currently i got one pair of regular speakers connected into the green plug. Is it possible to put another pair of speakers in the sound card? the black plug has no response and the digital out has no response only the green plug has a response.
    Ohh noo!!! I make dribbles!!!

u may need to enable it in the bios. or maybe u have to unmute it in the sound properties in windows (the little speaker icon at teh bottom right).

Personally, I'd dump the creative card and use the onboard sound. A 2500+ ain't gonna be troubled much by it, while Creative left me with a bad taste with their SB128/512 fuckups.

    too right.

Keikan, you have a motherboard with the Nvidia MCP-T chip on it, and you're using a Creative SB Live instead?? the MCP-T (Soundstorm) chip is superior to the Creative card in every way. the sound quality is better, the device drivers are better, and it uses less CPU power. just toss that SB Live and use the onboard sound.

yes. but newer sound chips like the Nvidia MCP-T and Creative Audigy 2 use much less CPU power than older ones like SB Live. they are designed better.
