    A GA-7ZX is a Gigabyte motherboard.
    Here is a link to Gigabytes CPU compatibility page for the GA-7zx boards.Be sure to look at the PCB revision on your board though.If it revision 5.1 you are laughing,you could put at least an XP2100+ on that board,if it is revision 1.XXyou are stuck down at a Athlon 1.4. Good luck.

    Thanks none the less, and for the links.

    A simple persons guide is always best for me. Basically an adult saying, yes it will work, rather than me having to work it out.
