Help With Nero Plaease?

Hi I'm new here and I was wondering if someone could please help me with nero. I am trying to convert a wmv. file into a vcd but it won't work. I was just wondering if it is possible to convert wmv. into vcd or not? Please help. Thanks

Does Nero do conversion of that type. I know it does MP3 to Audio CD but I haven't heard of it doing the same with video files.

I think you would have to do.

wmv to mpg

then use the mpg to make a vcd using tmpgenc or the like.

Then Nero to burn it.

it does , but any conversion fron wmv to anything is gunna be messy and a big loss in quality , wmv is just a crappy code to convert

Yes, Nero Ultra will convert a WMV file to VCD.

Use Nero Burning ROM not StartSmart or Vision Express.

In the "New Compilation Box" choose the VCD tab and uncheck "Create standard compliant CD".

The same applies to SVCD.

Quality loss is negligible so it depends on how good is your source file.
