New Drivers Mess Up Everything

so i reciently dled the new Forceware 56.64 drivers, and battlefield 1942 starts crashing. so i contact ea, and i soon relize the problem might be the fact that i have a 32mb vid card, and my computer says its only 1.5mb. b4 it didnt do this, all was fine bf. ive completely whiped the drivers and the game off comp, and re-installed, still ame prob.

so now i need to know why it says its only 1.5mb.

hmm thats wierd. does it also say that its 1.5mb in other programs too? programs such as aida32 u should check. You could also try reinstalling direct x 9...

click the plus beside display, then on the list it says gpu. click that and in teh middle of the page it will say memory size.

This should do it:
1. Boot into Safe Mode
2. Right-click My Computer and select Properties
3. Click the Device Manager tab
4. Click the + sign next to Display Adapters/Video Adapters
5. Right-click your video card and select Remove then OK the next popup.
6. Reboot and reinstall the video card using older drivers.
