Ok,

now i am getting sick and tired of receiving emails from an automatically generated status notification thingie....

I am sure my email addy is being used by sum1 as a spam thing, because i get emails saying that my email could not be sent to the following address.

Also the emails contain attachments blocked by hotmail.

I have never opened these attachments (lol im not that stupid)

I just wanna know if there is a way i can stop this from happening ....without changing my email address.... ARGGH

Hotmail sucks, badly. When I had Hotmail, I would get 143 new emails (yes, all spam) in my Inbox every day.

I only get on average 3 a day at mine (my hotmail account)
On a given day or given circumstance, you think you have a limit.
And you then go for this limit and you touch this limit and you think "Ok, this is the limit".
As soon as you touch this limit, something happens and you suddenly can go a little bit further.

dray_02 , the reason you are getting these emails, is that ppl you know have one of the new viruses, and thats how the virus sends its self, and tricks you into opening the attachment, which you think you sent, then you get the virus

A lot of virii will scan a person's address book and send copies of itself to those people. It also uses one of those addresses as the sender of the email, making it harder to identify the person with the infected computer.

Chances are, someone who has your email address is infected with a virus.
