Thread: Kazaa Not Working

  1. #11
    no boss first of all i have not seen anybody else except for maybe 2 people with the same problem.

    second this is not a kazaa problem.

    it has to do with your enviroment, belive me i've been dealing with this for a very long time.

    the program does not just change unless you got a virus that changed it.

    if you have xp do an os repair and see if that helps

    Ok, so I've installed the latest xp sp2 that I got hold of, so I guess I can't be more up do date and that also should have reapired my windows. Also updated and run norton antivirus, adaware and spybot search and destroy, uninstalled and removed all traces of kazaa and reinstalled kazaa lite 2.4.3 and it still hangs up on opening!

    Not to argue but I have seen a fair few people with this happening within the last week in other forums, and yes its probably something to do with a bug or virus, but what else am i supposed to do!

    @timdh5:
    Download Spybot - Search & Destroy, go to Tools -> Processes and copy down everything you see there here.

    @MM:
    You on moderation or something, why'd you have to pull out the MM 1.0 account?

    What was the old one then, MM 0.0 lol?

    I've noticed something strange happening, when kazaa crashes and I end process when not responding, it sends spoolsv.exe to maximum cpu usage and huge mem usage. not sure if that means anything. Heres the process list;

    First thing I recommend you do is get rid of Real, Norton, and Systemac. There's much better alternatives out there.

    Try again and see what happens..

    I believe he is implying to uninstall them, not shut down the processes.
