Windows Installer Error!

I have been talking with this guy and doing alot of stuff.. HijJack has tooken alot of stuff off for me and alot of other programs. BUT STILL< when I try to Install pc Cillen which i just bought, it says Windows Installer The folder doesnt exist or try ti verify the folder blah blah blah.... THen it shuts down. It does this with Norton too... Can someone help?

What OS are you using? I used to get problems with the Windows Installer. I upgraded the Windows Installer to version 2, and havn&#39;t had problems since.

Windows Installer 2 for Win 95, 98, ME.

Windows Installer 2 for Win 2000 and NT 4.

Windows XP already has version 2, so if your using Win XP, just ignore this post. Good luck.

yer , if you got xp , just format and reinstall windows , 99% of the time its quicker than trying to track down weird problems like this

plus you start with a clean system, which me thinks you might just not have atm , poss virus issues i would say

repair windows. you dont llose files u downloaded&#092;installed.

Just make sure you have ALL YOUR backups . Reinstall dont look back.Its like coffee and a shower in the morning. Just remember to use windows update and your motherboard drivers.

A couple people hve told me to repair windows so im going to try that. If not ill just burn some Folders and files I want to a cd and then.
