Thread: Downloads Drain My Pc

    is there any adjustment i can make so downloads wont kill my pc?ive got dsl..but i download one song and i cant do anything else without restarting my pc.any suggestions would be appreciated. B)

    ive got 256 ram,dsl,k-lite 2.6.i just reformatted and run virus scans also.if i download just one song my computer is drained.i have to reboot or it takes forever for things to load.if thats not enough info let me know and i,ll try to come up with more.

    u could start wih telling us what exactly u dl .please include the whole file name

    ive got windows xp home.i download mp3 files.i can download just one song then try to open msn or any other page and i have to wait and wait for the page to load.but if i reboot,everything works fine.

    get netlimiter mate , and it fixes your problems by allowing you to set the max upload and download for each program
