    Hi
    Can anyone tell me how to play a movie that is in this format
    and do I need any special codec for it

    they should play fine in Mplayer2.exe unless you dont have WM8 codec installed
    and if it's one of those DRM filled wmv files you may need to aquire a license to play it.
