    Fucking hell, 15000+!?
Sheesh.... Is it even possible for the puter to surf the net with that many programs transferring your info to just about every fucker on the net?
*Strokes SpyBot Immunize, and your Supertrick, XG *

    Worst cases I have seen:
My friend back in my old home town.
I left there with a win95 machine and no knowledge, came back after spending 4 months in this place reading everything about nothing (and nothing about everything).
I installed Ad-Aware and SpyBot on his comp.
God damn, now THAT was a spyware fuckfest. he had almost 1 000 items in BOTH programs, had to reboot the comp about 5 times to get rid of it all.

Second, there was a friend of mine who asked for Symantec AV Corp for a friend, and his total virus count was well above 1 000.

Some people should just return their puter
(And dont call me a n00b hater, I am well aware of the fact that I handed in my comp cos of ONE FILE that used 100 % of the CPU, which I at that point had no idea how to see, even less so delete (1st month of this comp's life))

we are bullshitting or are we just playing with numbers here?

I have zero spy ware present on my system...on spybot and adware
    I wasn't bullshitting

He's only 13 but he goes to the stupid flash games sites and stuff, goes to any links people give him on msn. I've tried to tell him but he never listens
On a given day or given circumstance, you think you have a limit.
And you then go for this limit and you touch this limit and you think "Ok, this is the limit".
As soon as you touch this limit, something happens and you suddenly can go a little bit further.
With your mind power, your determination, your instinct and the experience as well, you can fly very high.

Just read it. To be honest though, I'm not surprised at Stardock's stance on spyware, mainly because of Brad's involvement in SD's customers - the community spirit that Stardock has with users of its software is pretty rare.

Following on from this article, here's something I found in the Comments section of that article - An article on the website of Lavasoft (creators of Ad-Aware) about leaving their own anti-spyware consortium. Not sure myself but opinions on this article could likely be split:
    Lavasoft Leave Anti-Spyware Consortium

I am just a worthless liar. I am just an imbecile.
I will only complicate you. Trust in me and fall as well.
I will find a center in you. I will chew it up and leave.
I will work to elevate you just enough to bring you down.

No, I meant "those" porn sites.
The ones that are like bad relatives and invite themselves into your computer and change your homepage. The ones that people can't resist going to because they are advertised on a pop-up.
