    how to configure the Internet of Redhat, it suppose to do automatically but it didnt...




    i took this pic from a site, and it says there that its ACTIVE but on my comp it NOT ACTIVE...

    i have external ADSL modem, i dont know if thats the reason or if there is something else.

    have you tried pinging something to see if the connection is actually up.

    ping 216.239.39.99

    thats the ip adress of google if you get packets returned then your connection is actually up and running.

    it would also mean you have to setup the dns
