    can some1 plz help me?
    I am looking for a program that can convert avi or mpeg files into animated gif's , there was a treat about that program a long long time ago (when I was still active ) many many tnx

    yeah I am looking for 1 particular program. there was a treath about it long time ago, that program had a lot of functions and shit like that

    I'm interested in this program as well... but... I need one that can convert MPEGs... those only do AVIs, at to my understanding. Or if there isn't a program that can do that then how about one that can convert MPEGs into AVIs?

    You could throw the MPG file into something like Adobe Premier or Cyberlink PowerDirector 3 and export it as an .avi
