    If there wasn't an easy way to use a mechanical fastener (i.e. a screw), I would fall back on old reliable....GOOP ( a very good silicon type adhesive).

    but eitehr way, some heatsyncs (like the one on my mx440 for example) do allow for a fan to be scewed on. althought it is meant for a 40mm fan, you could probably buy a 40-to-60mm adaptor, then a 60-to-80mm adaptor...

    I believe he was talking about gpu...
    and yeah that adapter thing would work, but would also be very cluttered and stick off your card probably a good 6 inches

    yes that is very true...
    and imagine a 120mm adaptor attached to it also
