    no, hes not. You probably meant turning a file into a txt not a folder. rename a folder to folder.txt, turns it into a folder called "folder.txt"

    ok, sorry do this
    take your file (cut) and find a place that you know your "admins" will never go like with in a Windows system file, anywhere really
    then right click and choose create shortcut
    then rename it to readme.txt
    put the shortcut easy to find c:/readme.txt and should be safe
    I knew I had did it years ago, just forgot how I did it
