lately most of my downloads starts Ok but after a minute or so you only hear scratces.
Sometimes after a download I hear nothing at all, while my audio is on.

stop using kazaa
maybe try mp3shield

use mp3shield, kchecker, and also videolan for preview

Aside to what they've said, try download files that have many sources to rise your chances for a correct file or use verifieds.
