well ya the easiest way would be to open it up and look for something like this on the motherboard:
    Image Resized
    [img]http://slo-tech.com/testi/plate01/agp_slot.jpg' width='200' height='120' border='0' alt='click for full size view'>
(its the long brown thing, your may not have the white latch on the end though, not all do.)

but there are other ways...try finding your motherboard model number, then go to the manufacturers website and look it up to see, or try googling it. To get the model number you can try a program called Aida32.

My version of AIDA32 doesn't actually tell me anything significant about AGP, and it is the latest version AFAIK.

Sandra gives a lot more information.

If you don't want to open the computer then why would you want to know?

You cannot use it if you don't open the case. So what's the point?

Just open it and look. You need to do that anyway if you want to use it.

Actually, it only tells you information about your graphics card, which if it an AGP card then obviously you have an AGP slot.

But if you've got a pci card you could also have an unused AGP slot but it would not tell you about it.

actually, sorry to prove you wrong, but if you go to Aida32>Motherboard>Motherboard, under "motherboard physical info" it will say "expansion slots", ie 5 PCI, 1 AGP
