Smells Like Teen Spirit is a great song but I don't think it is a great guitar riff. How can Hotel California by the Eagles not be in the top 20? That's my favorite riff of all time.

I'd have put Layla at the top myself, but Sweet Child O' Mine is a damn fine riff too. I'd also have liked to see Evanescence's "Tourniquet" in there but it's perhaps a little too new; it's got not one but two great riffs.
