Who Uses Fireworks?

Personally I hate fireworks, but they make us use it in school.

Nope. Adobe Photoshop is so much more capable. I would even choose The Gimp over fireworks.

Hey, why not suggesting to your school to use The Gimp. It's completely free. The Windows installers can be found HERE. It's actually comparable to Photoshop an still free. Hey, it's worth a try... and you'd be saving your school money.

I like it, it does everything i need it to do. Check out the site in my sig to see a video i made which uses characters and scenes drawn entirely in fireworks.

Photoshop is much more powerful, but I still can't figure out how to draw things with it. I use it more for editing photos.

Yep, I use it - About 95% of the graphics I make are done with Fireworks.

I think it's pretty cool for making navigational buttons.

Fireworks has everything that you need for working with images in websites.

photoshops is better at working with pictures.


i wish people would stop comparing them, both have their own strong points.



@Keikan: is this a web design class? if so, fireworks is the better choice (imo)
