Trouble With Movie (sound Problem)

I recently downloaded the Punisher, which was linked off the Movie part of this forum. The video plays fine, but the sound is really out of wack. You can't hear any dialouge except in very few areas, and it sounds sort of like lazers or something like that. Is there a special codec I need to watch this? Much help would be appreciated.
