Thread: Official X800xt Review

  1. #21
I'm gonna wait a while till my comp gets obsolete then upgrade the whole thing with a new mobo with PCIexpress, and most likley the HIS version of the x800xt
that won't be within the next few months though, but when I do...
Yeah I think the HIS version of the X800 will be really nice, I have the HIS 9600XT and it's a beauty lol

You see as soon as these products are on the market for 3 or 4 months and all of the OEMs are dumping them the prices will definately go down to $400.

This is completly false I would have to say.

This card is like scoring 15,000 in 3DMark03 right? If not I know I have seen over 12,000 in 3DMark03

The 9800XT might get around 7,000 max.

Theres no way in hell 9800xt can get to a x800. Its twice a good then the 9800.

PCI express is a new slot on the motherboard. It is MUCH faster then the AGP slot, and allows for much greater bandwith. Im not sure when it will be here but it will be months...
So that would mean that i would have to buy a new mobo, and i bet it wont be cheap. Anyways since you said that it will be in a couple months i will just upgrade then, i get the x800 for now.
