Thread: Cracked Subscription Ends

    my norton firewall ends 6/6/04 should I just re install it
    or should I switch to zone alarm? I have v4.5... waiting in
    the wing but I don't wanna deal with the learning curve and
    the configs.

    just go for a better firewall like zonealarm or sygate.

    it&#39;s to much of a resource hog IMO&#33;
    I am using sygate, and love it imo it&#39;s one of the best around

    guess you were right AndrewBarker............ nothing but other firewall tips.............

    @trillscout: if you wanna keep norton (for whatever reason), uninstalling and then installing prolly wont work: the registry keeps track of it, and you will get the same problem when you reinstall............ you could try removing it from the registry with a tool like RegCleaner.........


    btw, zone alarm is a resource hog to, if you really wanna get around that go with sygate (though that is less user friendly)
    great FTP site for awesome quality video clips
    yeah, you have to sign up, but its worth it
