you need a sub title reader for wmp

i think there is one in the codec pack but you have to select it , its not selected by default

go here and follow dsa16's advice (last post)

works perfectly and without any complicated installs. also check in wmp that on subtitles its allowed

open wmp 9 > play > captions and subtitles > click on if available
Shut that cunt’s mouth or I’ll come over there and fuckstart her head.

no no no dis ain't workin for me...
ok dis is wad i did:

    downloaded SubRip...and installed it.
got the subtitle for da movie..which is The Italian Job ( 2003 ).

Downloaded movie's file name is: Italian Job, The.xl.3ivx
so i named da subtitle folder as: Italian Job, The.xl.3ivx.sub ( since it was supposed to be da same as da video file. )

I have turned on da option for da subtitle in the windows media player 9....but still i can't see any subtitle's....

    aaaaahh!!!

    where em i goin wrong??

have u got both the sub and avi in same folder?

and instead of re-naming, copy and paste the name from the avi

edit. rename both to simply the italian job.avi and the italin job.sub as all the . this and . that may be confusin it

Yes both da movie and subtitle files are in da same folder....and if i try to rename any of da file a warnin pops up sayin:

If u change a file name extension, the file may becone unusable. Are you sure you want to chage it??
    Yes ... No

One more thing, do i have to run SubRip also??? it doesn't say anywhere dat i have to run SubRip...all it talks abt is to install it!!
