    My laptop is a XP-M 2600+.
Even when folding the highest speed it will run is somewhere in the 700's Mhz It should be 2.0Ghz.
Does anyone know how to disable the PowerNow options without having to format windows?
I wasn't going to buy it in the first place, so me downloading it for free isn't losing them any money.

AFAIK, Windows gets the speed measurement when it starts up.

So at that point it could easily only have been running at 700MHz or less.
