Thread: Call Of Duty Won't Run

  1. #1
Okay, I read some mumbo-jumbo about how if you don't run the game from the proper folder, then default.cfg won't load and thus the game won't load. I installed CoD cleanly, extracted the single player crack like I was supposed to, but when I go to run the game, it says that the "default.cfg" file can't be located? What's going on?

    Thanks.

this is what i see in the message screen when it fucks up.

Okay, I just used CDMage to check for any corrupted sectors, and on disk one there were 759!!! corrupted files and it wasn't able to repair ANY of them. What program should I use to try and repair these other than CDMage?

i don't think you can repair all those corrupt files, redownloading it sounds good (sometimes, even wit broadband, ur connection gets cut and then reconnects causing interruptions in downloads). r u sure u placed the crack in the dir it was supposed to be in and did you get the "overwrite" message (stupid question, but had to ask)?
