    You should use IZArc. It's free and supports a lot more formats.

    Yeah... something like that.
    Well, just to note, I&#39;ve tried winzip, winrar, powerarchiver, zipgenius, 7-zip, IZArc, and I don&#39;t remember what else, but IZArc seems to support a lot of formats like powerarchiver (for free) with a simple winzip-like interface and has full 7-zip support, which has better compression than anything else I&#39;ve ever seen, while not slowing down your system by having too many graphics, like Zip Genius. Zip Genius is great, it&#39;s just better to tweak it after you install it (like removing graphics from the context menu to speed it up), and it&#39;s a bit bigger than IZArc.


    I sound like a commercial, but I&#39;m just sharing experience.

    yeah i got used to winrar but if some tars are corrupted use tar 98
