Glitch / Skipping

when ever i play a movie or song or even a sound on my pc... somtimes it skips and have little glitches.. it happens on windows media player mostly and on other programs like aol please help..

forget that, most liekly not the problem..

follow the beginning of my guide (link in sig [read the part about msconfig and task manager and services.msc]).

or it could be a driver problem, if my guide doesn't fix the problem (btw restart after doing the stuff), then tell us your soundcard model so we can find u the best driver to use.

when i play a song it skipps but when i burn that song to a cd, the cd doesnt skip. hmmmm help
