Thread: Uploading Movies

  1. #1
I've just been reading an interesting thread in the filesharing section about ISP's sending out warning letters to customers u/loading large movie files about copyright infringement blah, blah, yawn, yawn. Have any of you Movieworld regulars had this problem? Looks like Big Brother is watching us!

Brockster, my old china, what was being discussed there may well affect us. It's something we need to be aware of. Of course you can worry about it when it happens, but by then it may be too late. A couple of good points were made that may be of benefit to all of us. By the way, are we still a bit touchy over that Equilibrium thing? Chill mon!

Each to his own, fair enough, but I remember losing Napster and Audiogalaxy - I just like to know what's going on and what can be done to outwit the multi-national film/record companies. For example it's a good idea to make use of the privacy patch - it may look like you're not sharing, but if you are like most of us, they don't know what.
