Thread: Nvidia Card W/ This Fan?

    look at the picture my card its not possible to fit a screw in its to big of a gap...
    so how did you stick your cooler in?

    i dont want to tape it ...
    no screwing
    its rather gluing it.

    should i make the 80mm exhaust or intake.

    my heatsync is silver, and had gaps on the edges of the heatsync where it was possible to add in a fan...kinda hard to explain, ill try to find you a pic...

    edit: im still looking for a better pic, but it is kinda like this:


    only the while thing is a lot bigger in width and length, and the middle is more filled out...but the edges are like what you see, able to be screwed into...

    i see...
    but... look at mine mines all gapped&#33;
    no skinny parts to plug my 80mm fan in?
    and i still dont know how to stick the 80mm fan and hold it.

    ya...how hot does it get now? maybe u don&#39;t need a fan?

    well i noticed the decrease in preformance when i switched to a heatsink.

    no i had a another card before with the same chipsets.
    for some reason my other fx card fan was making alot of noise so i switched to heatsink and i noticed a decrease in preformance warranty is off now.

    performance won&#39;t decrease if it gets hot...just it will start to artifact (little blobs and crap on the screen).

    well it might, but i doubt it...

    feel teh heatsync, is it hot?

    i just want to o/c anyways since the msi card has its own o/c software.

    a;right, if u want to OC then yes you will benfit from better cooling.

    that is the reason why i addded a fan to my card.
