Internet Explorer Won't Work

Hey, this is on someone else's computer but they really need help so..

Internet explorer won't surf the internet. They've tried resetting all things but nothing seemed to work. System restore wouldn't and so we're using mozilla firefox right now and it works. Anyone have any idea why IE won't work? And please, we want IE to work not just mozilla.

Better go get adaware you have spyware so go do a clean up like ASAP
