as title, I don't have ps2 yet, but I'm going to buy one, and I'm not planning to buy any game coz I'm thinking to rent games from Blockbuster or some game stores and copy and burn them with a DVD-burner(single layer, 4.7 G), can I just copy all the stuffs in the original disc to a DVD-r disc? thanks.

yes but you need a modded ps2 i beleive to play them

Yea, just get a prog like Alcohol 120% to make an image. Burn it at a low speed, 2X is good.
Go to ConsoleSource and get the Swap Magic Discs and Slide Card Combo. $20 is a good price to play burned games
