As dsa16 stated, the Beware of Dog trick no longer works, and I no longer support the thread. However though, and I can't figure out why, but my friend/neighbor still uses this trick, and it works for him. He can stay online without limits, but it doesn't work for me and a few of my friends, strange. You could try it out and see what happens.

Yep your screwed friend , access numbers are the ticket i'm afraid

If nothing local you end up paying thru the nose with dial up charges , hence not free.
