Thread: Large Files Down Very Slow - Help!

1. #1
I can download MP3s at full speed but it seems I cannot download files at a fast rate over 100MB. People have told me it maybe my ISP stopping my connection. I never had problems in the past I could get 700MB files in under 2hours now I can't get them at all!

Could it be my port settings? Can I change the kazaa lite port?

I'm not behind a firewall or router. My connection is UP : 612k and DOWN : 150k

thanks in advance

Michael

Are you behind a router? If so you would have to forward your port and try changing you port as well.

You can change your port settings and this can help if you have a problem connecting.

As far as lots of sources but few downloads is concerned there is congestion for new files, especially first edition movies, where the number of sources is no where near the demand for them.

I also think (without any proof) that a lot of the higher speed connections have migrated to Bittorrent so you could be left with a high proportion of 56k'ers.
DOWNLOADING IS FUN - SHARING IS SUBLIME
When all else fails - read the instructions!!!

You can change the port in the K-Lite options box.

Remember to forward that port if you are using a router
