In the Canadian federal election, that is. Ideally only Canadians would answer, but that's impossible.

I ask because of the age demographic this board somewhat resides in (although this particular subset is, I think, generally elder). The "youth" turnout has been pegged at about 25%, which is pretty dismal. Hopefully this year's election will be higher, although I doubt it.

Overall, 62% of the entire population voted in the last federal election. That's not a bad showing, but it certainly could be better.

things are quiet until hitler decides he'd like to invade russia
    so, he does
the russians are like "OMG WTF D00DZ, STOP TKING"
and the germans are still like "omg ph34r n00bz"
the russians fall back, all the way to moscow
and then they all begin h4xing, which brings on the russian winter
the germans are like "wtf, h4x"

Well we were respecting your wish to keep our foriegn noses out of it

    I won't vote in the poll a

it’s an election with no Democrats, in one of the whitest states in the union, where rich candidates pay $35 for your votes. Or, as Republicans call it, their vision for the future.

Yes, but not on quite the same American-cum pseudo- quasi- ex-patriot once-removed basis as you, vid.

I'm only here to unduly influence the election.

True enough, but I know there are more than two Canadians that frequent this area of the board.

We should have a poll of what party you are going to vote for. And there should be an option for *all* parties. Not just the big 4.

That defeats the whole "secret ballot." Besides, it's more interesting to see how many people will vote, rather than who they'll vote for.

Edit: Maybe if enough people vote in this poll, I'll go hunt through the ballots for that one.
