How do you update your software if it doesn't automatically update?
Do you uninstall, then install the new updated one? or just install the new updated one?
I have this question because I need to update Firefox 0.8 to 0.9 and am not sure about how to do it. Suggestions?
unless it tells you otherwise, you can usually just let it overwrite the old one. Firefox asks you if you want to keep your old settings from the previous version, so you should just leave it and install it on the same folder.
