Does uploading affect your download speed?

Cause i use Overnet and im uploading about 70KB/s and im only getting 50kB/s

is there any way i can lower the upload at least 10kB or 5kB/s i tried using netlimiter it didn't work, then my DL became 0KBs

Overnet might have, in its' options, something that you can set to adjust d/l and u/l speeds. Also Overnet doesn't like when other app use the bandwidth and terribly slows down. Also you just might be downloading from crappy sources.

With Netlimiter you can set how much of bandwidth an app can use so you might have set lower speed.
