Ok I'll put a warning by the ads.

I wouldn't even click the link to the scam sites, as getting more hits would only encourage the owners of the scam sites to do it even more. If people refuse to give in to the scamsters, hopefully they will pack up and go away.

I would say, only click on the ads which lead to genuine sites. Then filesharingtalk would still be funded.
Actually clicking the ads for the scams costs them money, so it might not be a bad idea.

Brian :-)
Good work!

Well this is better than nothing I suppose, if the scams can't be removed completely. I'm glad that there is now a warning.

Do you have a better suggestion?
For a start, take a look at the suggestion from REALITY here:

Well after a short discussion that idea may not be a good one.
Although if the placement could work somehow I do still like it a bit better...

I think thats a fair comprimise and if someone still gets scammed, well they are rather hopeless to say the least. Anyway a simple...

THANK YOU.

Thank you very much for the change Mr. B. I understand that the board costs you to run and you have to regroup that somewhere and I'm glad a compromise has been reached.

It's no use just complaining. You need also to come with a solution to the problem. Perhaps the board could advertise Tupperware products....
I see your point but I was not just out for a whinge. The subject has been brought up a few times before and other alternatives had been suggested inculding the solution of the warning text.
If I had the money to run the board I would have offered it a long time ago.
If a paypal scheme was set up then I would donate each month.

Anyways its sorted now

I know, I do believe you really hate, like all of us, those bloodsuckers...

Now lets go clicking, if it costs them money and helps the board...
