K-lite # Of Users Online Goes Down Really Low

when i connect to klite ...i have knat and my ports are fowarded......where it shows users online it would be like 39,000 then i dissconnect and reconnect and then it looks normal like 2,000,000 but then like 2 minute later it goes back down to 39,000 and nothing got disconnected or reconnected. can someone please tell me whats going on here.

Try jumping supernodes - this can happen and this has helped me in the past.
