I have the network password but not access to webmarshal the only way I can see a way around this is to bring the files in on cd but thats a hella waste of cd's lol just need a way to get it into the hard driv without download it, any other way?

you can .zip or .rar the executables before you download them onto your work computer. that normally gets around the troublesome nanny soft.

make sure you have a copy of winrar or winzip on your work computer though

yeah you probably should have. in that case put them on CDs.

what are you trying to transfer? in my experience you can fit a lot of executables on a CD..

I hope you know that your network administrator can and is probably reading right now. B) :

Anyways way download it (this seems to be it) and learn how it works. I am guessing it works as a device driver, Monitoring the file system and tcp/ip connections.

lol, at school they have a computer lab (rather advanced for a school computer lab actually) and the teacher installed a bunch of anti-download/porn software, well easy come easy go, he forgot to remove access to the uninstallers and voila! We filled up those pcs with porn up to the brim, that was fun. Anyways I would not try to do that (even if you find a way to) because that would obviously get you in trouble, go buy a jazzman drive (or a zip drive, but they hold less), they're cheap now (external ones are still around right?) and you can re-use the disks without much trouble (no waiting for burning or wasting disks) my neighbor has 3 external zip drives in his garage, if you lived in HI, I could sell you one for 5 bucks . And I believe XP auto recognizes them, so you don't need to download an .exe driver .
