Look at that line up.Man this sucks. That would of been one hell of a show.

Why can we not have big festivals here in America? It seems Europe is always pulling off big shows. But we never do.

They need to change the name from Woodstock and call it something else.Have it right in the middle of America every 5 Years.3 Days of non stop Music.

Then maybe people will be better prepared for these things.

Perry was trying something new.And it really sucks that this did not work out for him or for the Fans.

Hmm, South by Southwest, over 1000 bands over a week........hmm, Austin City Limits Festivals, over 750 bands over three days, and that's just in one town. And let's not forget North by Northeast, the South by Southwest wannabes.....and these are annual shows by the way...

I am pretty sure these bands have sold over half a million:

A few from this years SXSW:

Alkaline Trio
B-52's
Betty Serverrt
Blues Travellers
Blue
Tracy Bonham
Cake
Cracker
The Crystal Method
Dirty Dozen Brass Band

of course, I could name a several more. Also it is intended as a gathering for bands to get seen by r-n-d's and labels.

And a few who will be at this years Austin City Limits this year:

Ryan Adams
Trey Anastasio (frontman of Phish)
Asleep At The Wheel
Blind Boys Of Alabama
Big Head Todd
Clarence “Gatemouth” Brown
Roseanne Cash
Neko Case
Sheryl Crow
Dashboard Confessional
G. Love & Special Sauce
Terri Hendrix
Shelby Lynne
The Pixies
Toots & The Maytals
Wilco

Need me to name a few more?

P.S My point is, yes it sucks about them cancelling the tour (because of low ticket sales, amkes you wonder ), Austin is a small city. No where near very large. But if this is just one place, there is obviously many more across the nation. Get off yer ass and travel a little. I am sure with a little effort, you could find more music than you can handle.

P.P.S. Consider it an opportunity to do a little quality assurance for Colt .45's.

Read what I said again dude.

"Half a Million People or more"

What I am talking about is an event. Not a Festival for the Locals. There is no Musical Events in America that does 500,000 attendence or more.

I have only been to one.And that was Woodstock 94 up in New York.

But if Austin can attract that many People.Cool.I will give you that.Austin is known for its Music.

But there is alot of other Citys that our sick of you guys bragging about.
