You're all bad losers, Portugal where all over you and deserved the win, Terry was obstructing the keeper during the Campbell goal, I would have given it, but the ref didn't, that's football.

Campbells goal was a perfectly good goal, however the fact of the matter is England did not play well enough to go through.

The midfield were anonymous for the whole game, and the defence defended too deep all game, inviting the Portuguese to have a go. I don't think England strung more than about 3 passes together all game, it was a very poor display.

It was inevitable that Portugal would eventually score with the players they have, and then as soon as the game went to penalties, you just knew that England were going to bottle it.

The penalty spot did move for Beckham as he put down his standing foot, which was unlucky, but if he'd tried to place it rather than blast it he would probably have scored, like the Portuguese did.

Anyway, time to move on, bring on the World Cup!
