    dont go buying expensive fans and cooling systems,
    just take the side off ya case and place a common fan 1.57Meters away on its lowest setting.

    I wish I coulda shown you my old setup. Had a large cooler, 32x18x32, right next to the side of my pc. Thread is too old though. It cooled my cpu down about 8 C and case about 5.

    Yeah, I had this setup as well.

    But when i put my case on top of my desk next to my monitor it just didnt work out...

    ...the fan would blow creating "wave-like" vibrations on my screen.

    good idea if your case is nowhere near your monitor

    What was the room temp?
