How Much Memory

i heard that if you have @ least 512MB memory, that you dont really need the page file, and since i have 512, i turned it of

now firefox sometimes gets shutdown without warning, as you get with insuffient memory.......

i had 1 warning about insuffient memory 2 days ago (been running 24/7)

im running on XP Corp:
Azureus
eMule
Soulseek
Firefox/bsplayer
at the same time

is 512 enough, or should i turn on the page file again (i wanna be able to run 24/7, so rebooting every day isnt really an option)?

Simple as that.....I have 768 yet still run a 500Mb page file.
