fwiw ...i noticed at first that at nsanes site that nothing would show up in his left pane and that's where he has his stuff to download, so what i had to do was put his site in my trusted zone so that (was it) activex or scripts ..or whatever could be used to show his suff, otherwise it did not show. also interesting is that I had to put both of his websites in my trusted zone for it to work as well. i'm also behind a netgear router but that did not cause me any problems

..anyway, let me take this oppurtunity to thank nsane for the time taken to put 2453 together because it is the client of my choice for me and what I want, imho...

yes, you need to foward ports 1214 and the port from the firewall tab in the options

@zepher - yeah, my site has a break frame scripts for redirects or improper linking from another site

sorry for another question but if i forward 1214 should i uncheck the thing in the options that says disable port 1214

yes, enable port 1214 (uncheck it), should be that way by default
