Thread: This Dvd Burner Is Great! I Finally Got One!

    I did my homework. I researched and asked around for the best DVD burner at the cheapst price. The members here even helped me out too.

    Here it is...
    NEC 8X Black DVD+RW/-RW Drive, Model ND-2500A, OEM Bulk

    I have had flawless burns, backups and copies. For about $70.00, it is worth it (Included shipping too). Took 3 days for delivery.


    The price is going down and you can find one at yahoo, probably at a cheaper price than what I paid for.

    Ha, 70bucks? i remember way back like 1 year ago they were like 800bucks.

    soon they will be like 30 bucks for 16x dual layer burners and that is when im buying.

    you can hack the megahertz of the 2500 to make it duel layer, I just bought his bigger badder brother the 2510a for 82 shipped form newegg

    What benefits would I get by unlocking my DVDR (change the BIOS)? I seem to be able to make perfect backup copies of the DVDs that I already own.

    Just to tell you guys...
    Don&#39;t get HP DVD-RW BURNERS
    They don&#39;t let you copyright dvd movies.
    If your a person who burns dvd movies don&#39;t buy them.

    But how would it make it so you cant burn copyrighted dvd&#39;s? It was probably just the software you were using.
