What Program Encodes Dvd's The Fastest

I want to put movies that i download onto Dvd. What progam is the the quickest in terms of converting an avi. or ,mpeg file to DVd. Also whats about the average time so i can learn what 2 expect.

the quickest i've used is xmpeg (old version, before version 5) with lsx plugin.

The time it takes depends on your system specs.

U can also switch off al other running software like av should speed things up.
