Counter Strike has ALWAYS been the hardest game to update...piece of shit software and a bad updater and its just all shit...sept the game is decent.

I downloaded steam which was supposed to come with 1.6...but when i open up counter strike it still says 1.0.0.5

Does anyone know how to get 1.6 or nething..so confusing to me.

you have to start up steam.... not counter-strike... then you make an account on steam.... then you convert your counter-strike 1.5 files to 1.6 and then BAM!

It asks you if you want to delete 1.5 or keep 1.5 files.
Something like that, my CD-KEY got screwed so I don't know what to tell yeah.

Peice of shit STEAM, such an amature company with good games how sad can that be.

Is there any way I can just get a 1.6 patch like we used to have to do and install it...and not mess with steam..seems kinda wierd to me id like to just open the game like always
