Think maybe we should get rookie to setup word filters so that when someone types heatsy....err...that word, it will automatically be changed to heatsink.

Ross,
Akasa makes the sound deading mat that I&#39;ve most commonly seen.
Near as I can tell it is a more cosmetic mod than anything else.

I lined the interior of my Centurion case ( remember that?) with closed cell foam, not exactly the same, I admit, but close I should think, and the noise reduction was minimal.
I have also tried the fan/PSU dampers that you mentioned to no perceptable advantage.
