Geting Supid Vlc To Display Subs

it's really annoying me. i use bsplayer for subs most o the time, but sometimes bs player is really a bull shit player. vlc works for all my vids, but the subs never show. i open the file, and i open the sub file, and it just won't fukn work! can anyone give me a step by step thing? i'm using 0.7.1 but i have 0.7.2 somewhere

i have the exact same problem.... i click the sub file and they have never show... damn them... just damn them to hell!!
